Cancellation and right of withdrawal

These terms cover cancellation, the statutory right of withdrawal and any refund for services purchased from Nordytre, organisation number 937 747 470.
Cancellation before work starts
Cancellation is free of charge until 12 hours before the agreed start time. Cancel by emailing post@nordytre.no or calling +47 405 27 799.
For cancellation less than 12 hours before the agreed start time, Nordytre may charge up to 50 per cent of the agreed price. A charge will only be made to the extent that it is reasonable in light of work already performed, reserved capacity and documented financial loss. This does not limit mandatory rights under Norwegian law.
14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts
If you are a consumer and enter into the contract online or through another distance-selling method, you normally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. For services, the period normally starts on the day after the contract is concluded, provided that you have received the information required by law. You do not need to state a reason.
To exercise the right, send Nordytre an unambiguous notice before the period expires. You may email post@nordytre.no or use our withdrawal form. Use of the form is optional.
Work starting during the withdrawal period
If you expressly request that work begins before the withdrawal period ends and then withdraw before the service is complete, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the part already supplied.
The right of withdrawal may end once the service is fully performed if the statutory conditions are met, including your prior express consent to early performance and acknowledgement that the right will be lost on completion.
Defects and repayment
The right of withdrawal is separate from your rights where a service is defective. Contact us promptly so Nordytre can inspect and, where appropriate, remedy the issue. Mandatory consumer rights under Norwegian law continue to apply.
Any repayment due will be made without undue delay once the basis and amount have been established. As Nordytre normally invoices after completion, an incorrect invoice will usually be credited or corrected.
