Terms and conditions
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These terms and conditions apply when ordering services from Nordytre, organisation number 937 747 470.
The terms and conditions are intended to provide a clear and predictable customer relationship. When an order is placed, these terms and conditions apply together with the information provided in the order, the order confirmation and any other written agreement between the customer and Nordytre.
Consumers always retain their mandatory rights under Norwegian law. If any provision of these terms and conditions conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation, the statutory provisions shall take precedence.
1. About Nordytre
Nordytre
Organisation number: 937 747 470
Service area: active service areas shown on the website and in Enquiry and booking
Email: post@nordytre.no
Telephone: 405 27 799
Nordytre provides exterior property maintenance services, including facade washing, roof washing, gutter cleaning and exterior property washing, to private individuals, businesses and public-sector organisations.
2. Ordering and formation of the agreement
You may submit an order or enquiry through the website or by contacting us directly.
An enquiry submitted through the website is not finally accepted until you have received confirmation from Nordytre. The agreement is considered entered into when Nordytre has confirmed the order in writing, normally by email or another agreed communication channel.
The order confirmation will normally contain relevant information about the service, the scheduled time and the agreed price. The customer is responsible for checking that the information in the order and order confirmation is correct. If anything is incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
3. Right to reject or amend an order
Nordytre may reject an enquiry before the order has been confirmed if, among other things, we:
- do not have capacity at the requested time
- do not provide the relevant service in the area
- consider that the assignment cannot be carried out safely and responsibly
- have received incomplete or clearly incorrect information
- are prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
If an agreement that has already been confirmed must be amended due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact the customer as soon as possible to find a suitable solution.
4. Prices
The price stated when the order is placed or in the order confirmation is the agreed price for the service, unless the customer subsequently orders additional work or the parties agree to an amendment.
Prices stated to consumers shall be total prices and include any mandatory charges applicable to the purchase. Nordytre does not charge a standard call-out fee or hidden additional costs.
If a need arises during the assignment for work that was not included in the original order, we will, as far as reasonably practicable, inform the customer and clarify any additional cost before the work is carried out. As a general rule, additional work will not be carried out unless it has been agreed with the customer.
5. Customer responsibilities
To enable the assignment to be carried out as agreed, the customer must provide correct and sufficient information about the assignment. The customer is also responsible for ensuring the necessary access to the location or property where the service is to be carried out at the agreed time.
Please inform us in advance of any special circumstances that may affect the performance of the work. This may include restricted access, particular safety conditions or other circumstances of which Nordytre needs to be aware.
6. Timing and delays
Nordytre always aims to arrive at the agreed time and carry out the service as agreed. Delays may nevertheless occur due to traffic, weather conditions, illness, technical problems or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been foreseen or avoided.
If we are significantly delayed, we will, as far as possible, contact the customer and provide information about the situation. Any rights the customer may have as a result of the delay under mandatory legislation are not affected by these terms and conditions.
7. Cancellation
We aim to make ordering services from Nordytre simple and flexible. Cancellation is free of charge until 12 hours before the agreed commencement time.
Cancellations may be made by email to post@nordytre.no or by telephone on 405 27 799.
If a cancellation is made less than 12 hours before the agreed commencement time, Nordytre may charge a cancellation fee of up to 50 per cent of the agreed price. Such a fee will only be charged to the extent that it is reasonable in light of, among other things, the timing of the cancellation, work or preparations already carried out, reserved capacity and financial loss resulting from the cancellation.
If Nordytre has not incurred any loss or costs that justify such a fee, this will be taken into account. This cancellation arrangement does not limit any rights the customer may have under mandatory Norwegian legislation.
8. Right of withdrawal for online orders
If you are a consumer and enter into an agreement with Nordytre through the website or another form of distance selling, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
For services, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after the agreement is entered into, provided that the customer has received the information about the right of withdrawal required by law. You do not need to provide a reason for exercising the right of withdrawal.
9. Commencement before the withdrawal period has expired
Many of our services are ordered with a requested performance date in the near future. If you want Nordytre to begin performing the service before the ordinary 14-day withdrawal period has expired, we may ask you to make an express request for this.
If the work has begun following your express request and you subsequently exercise the right of withdrawal before the service has been fully performed, you may, under the applicable rules, be required to pay a proportionate amount for the part of the service already supplied.
If the service is fully performed before the withdrawal period expires, the right of withdrawal may cease when the statutory conditions for this have been met, including that the customer has expressly consented in advance to commencement and acknowledged the consequences for the right of withdrawal. The provisions concerning the right of withdrawal apply only to the extent that the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act applies to the relevant agreement.
10. Payment
Payment is normally made by invoice after the assignment has been completed. The invoice is sent to the contact details provided by the customer when ordering. The due date and payment information are stated on the invoice.
If an invoice is not paid by the due date, interest on overdue payments and any lawful fees may be charged in accordance with the applicable regulations. If the customer believes that the invoice contains an error, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate the matter.
11. Performance of the service
Nordytre shall carry out the assignment in accordance with the agreement and the requirements of applicable legislation. We shall endeavour to ensure that the work is performed professionally, safely and with the ordinary level of care appropriate to the relevant type of service.
If circumstances arise during the work that mean the assignment cannot or should not be carried out as originally planned, we will, as far as possible, contact the customer before continuing.
12. Additional work and amendments
If the customer wishes to extend or amend the assignment after the order has been confirmed, this may affect the price and the time required. Any material amendments or additions will be agreed with the customer before the work is carried out.
Nordytre may refuse additional work if we do not have the necessary capacity or equipment, or if, in our assessment, the work cannot be carried out responsibly.
13. Complaints and notification of defects
If you believe that the service has not been performed in accordance with the agreement, please contact us as soon as possible at post@nordytre.no or by telephone on 405 27 799.
Please describe what you believe is incorrect and, if possible, include photographs or other relevant documentation. Nordytre does not impose a general 24-hour time limit for notifying us of a complaint.
For consumers, the time limits for complaints under applicable Norwegian legislation apply. The customer must normally give notice within a reasonable time after a defect was discovered or ought to have been discovered. For certain types of work, the absolute time limit may be several years. For work on real property, the time limit may be up to five years.
14. Remedying errors and defects
If there is a defect for which Nordytre is responsible, we primarily wish to have the opportunity to investigate the matter and remedy the defect. Remedial work shall be carried out within a reasonable time and in accordance with the rights and obligations arising from applicable legislation.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may also have other rights, such as a price reduction, withholding payment, termination of the agreement or compensation where the relevant conditions are met. We recommend that the customer contact us before commissioning remedial work from another provider, so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, remedy the matter.
15. Damage and liability
Nordytre is liable for damage and financial loss to the extent required by the agreement and applicable Norwegian legislation. The customer is responsible for providing information about circumstances that may be relevant to the safe or correct performance of the assignment.
Nordytre is not liable for existing damage, defects or weaknesses that were present before the work began, unless Nordytre is liable for the matter under applicable legislation. No provision of these terms and conditions shall be interpreted as limiting any mandatory rights a consumer has under Norwegian law.
16. Circumstances beyond our control
Nordytre cannot be held liable for non-performance or delayed performance caused by extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the consequences of which we could not reasonably have foreseen or overcome.
This may include severe weather conditions, orders from public authorities, extensive operational disruptions or other extraordinary events. If such a situation arises, the customer will be informed as soon as possible, and we will try to find an alternative solution or a new time. The customer's mandatory statutory rights apply in all circumstances.
17. Privacy
When an order is placed, Nordytre processes personal data that is necessary to administer and carry out the assignment. Information about the personal data we process, the purposes of the processing, storage and your rights is available in our Privacy Policy.
18. Complaints and dispute resolution
If a disagreement arises between the customer and Nordytre, we initially wish to try to resolve the matter directly and amicably. Contact us at post@nordytre.no or by telephone on 405 27 799.
If you are a consumer and we are unable to reach a solution, the matter may, in accordance with the applicable rules, be submitted to the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation. If the matter is not resolved through mediation, cases covered by the relevant scheme may be considered further by the Norwegian Consumer Complaints Board. Disputes may also be brought before the ordinary Norwegian courts in accordance with the applicable rules.
19. Amendments to the terms and conditions
Nordytre may update these terms and conditions if our services, procedures or the applicable regulations change. As a general rule, the terms and conditions that applied when an order was entered into will apply to that order. The date at the top of the page shows when the terms and conditions were last updated.
20. Contact information
If you have any questions about an order, these terms and conditions or a service we have performed, please contact us.
